Full Bleed Pages!

Collages.net's press printed book product line now offers full bleed pages! This provides photographers complete, creative control over their page design - as they can now design and customize their press printed books.

Our photographers who are shooting wedding and seniors are particularly excited about this new addition because it allows them to incorporate books into their packages and custom offerings. Filling countless studio needs, Collages.net books are perfect for finished albums, parent albums, studio marketing samples, vendor samples, gifts, and favors.

We carry soft cover, perfect bound press printed books and hard cover, hand-sewn press printed books, available in almost 30 colors and in a select assortment of sizes ranging from 5x5 to 8x11. In addition to full bleed pages, a variety of page templates are offered and creative image borders may be added to our 1-up books. Cover choices include several designed templates, including single image covers, three-image covers, and full bleed covers

WOW - Increase Your Chances of Winning

Ever wonder how we decide which sites will be our websites of the week? Collages.net's marketing associate Eileen Rafferty shares some tips on how you can increase your chances of becoming a winner: “We look at every website that is uploaded,” Eileen notes. “And, in choosing, we are more likely to give priority to the websites that have eye-catching feature photos.” What can you learn from this? Be creative! The feature photo serves as a prelude to what we expect to find when we view the entire event site.

Another tip for increasing your site’s chances of becoming website of the week is to make sure to properly categorize your images, post your studio logo on your site, and look at every website of the week and note what these photographers are doing. This is the ultimate reason for our contest – it gives you insight into the latest styles and trends in the photography world. The bottom line? Be creative and organized, and don’t be afraid to get fresh and new ideas from other website of the week photographers!

The photographs below are the feature photos from some of our recent websites of the week.

Customer Service Tip - Custom Passwords

One question our photographers frequently ask refers to the event site password: can it be changed? The answer to this question is finally yes! Collages.net now offers custom passwords for your event sites. This new feature is currently only available through the online administration area, and it allows you (the photographer) to create an extension on your photographer code. For example, if your photographer code is 12345, you might create a custom password that looks something like this: 12345-678. Once you have created a custom password, guests can no longer log in to the event site with the normal password (12345). This custom password creates an extra layer of security to the event website, which can be particularly useful for those who post sensitive material online.

To change your event site password, follow these steps:

*Enter the admin area and go to the blue Event Manager tab.

*Enter the workflow of your chosen event and click on Edit Event Info.

*Find the line labeled “Custom Password” (The fourth line from the bottom).

*Enter the custom digits you would like to follow the normal password, and click Update.
